Here I made a power supply which makes 10-15 KV. I made it for making plasma bulb and do some high voltage experiments. Here the high voltage is generated from a 12V DC supply. For increasing the voltage to a very high range we need step-up transformers. So here I use vehicle ignition coil as transformer. It is capable of producing such a high voltage. Next I made a driver circuit for the ignition coil because it need an AC voltage for its operation. So I created an oscillator by using 555 and boost its output by using a power transistor 2N3055.
