I was scrolling on Reddit and stumbled on a cool post of a four-legged robot dog someone did, and the author was asking for new features to implement. One of the answers got me hyped up :
At the same time I was inspired by Alex Glow's talk on companion bots. All in all, I had to do it, or at least try.
Let's do it !Scott is your new travel companion that sits in any gym bag. It is able to turn its head left and right and bark at random people. Scott is mannered, always asks to be carried, and above all he hates rain. But don't be fouled, he is a fearsome watchdog, never closes an eye and he if you are unfortunate enough to stand on his way he will not hesitate to give you his cutest stare.
- Print the papercraft model on heavy paper of at least 180 gsm (g/m²)
- Spray waterproofing product on the papercraft model when it's finished
- Make sure the gym bag is filled with stuff or just paper to stabilize the body of the dog
- You may need to sand down the 3D-printed model for it to fit the servo
