Story

The LCD monitor is only used to display the first words, "Scan Finger Now" to prompt the user to put his finger on the scanner. The Serial monitor will need to be opened up to make sure that the finger was scanned properly. The data can then be uploaded to a database of your choice (like excel) and the time can be noted for attendance manually.

Below is a picture of the Serial Monitor screen when you properly scan a finger. The fingers need to be enrolled so the scanner knows who it is scanning.
