This is a small machine I designed to cut foam, styrofoam or similar materials.

0.25 mm nichrome wire

8 mm round adhesive bumpers

3mm round metal spike

M3 x 8 mm flat screws

M3 x 14 mm countersunk screws

M3 x 10 mm flat screw

M3 nuts

M3 wing nut

M3 x 16 mm flat screw

M3 x 20 mm countersunk screw

M4 x 40 mm hexagonal screws

M3 x 5 mm grub screw

M4 nuts

M4 washers

M5 washer (15 mm outer diameter)

M4 wing nut

female 12 mm 12 V socket

12 V DC Motor Speed Controller

12 V DC PSU (3 A)

Superglue

Some medium gauge wire

Zip ties

Basic tools like drill, saw, etc

Story

This is a small machine I designed to cut foam, styrofoam or similar materials. The body is mainly made of plastic using 3D printed parts. I also used aluminum tubes. It's really important not to use heat sensitive filaments if you decide to build one (PLA is not recommended).
