Want to play some classic arcade games again? Instead of emulating them on your PC you can build your own arcade gaming station to get the right feeling.
For this machine we used the magnetic sensors TLE493D-W2B6 Shield2Go and TLE4964-3M Shield2Go for the control elements together with a Raspberry Pi 4. The Raspberry Pi reads the inputs of the sensors and converts them to suitable inputs for the python games.
Sound is coming from a MERUS™ Audio Amplifier Hat that allows you to run up to 40W speakers without the need of an extra power supply.
A touchscreen and a menu allows you to select your favorite game and then you can start playing right away. With the highscore-system you can play against your friends to see, who’s best.
