Smart City - Smart Lighting and Smart Policing

There are lights in every city, big or small. By using motion sensor, it can capture the person's image if anyone crosses it and sends it to server for identification. If that person is of interest (either a wanted criminal or terrorist), then our system can send alerts to the police department and other agencies as well.

Lights can automatically turn on or off depending on natural light intensity.

All these lights can be controlled by a central department to status of the light, for turning lights on or off etc. (This architecture can be applied to big companies, factories etc.)

How it works:

We will setup GE lights in the streets, it will also have a motion capture sensor, video camera capture device, light sensor and gateway connected to internet which will collect sensors data and send it to our servers.

We will add intelligence to the street light in such a way that based on the data it collects, we will analyze and identify any suspicious activities are happening near by.

With the help of Machine Learning on the sensors data, it can take real time decisions automatically.

We can use this system to not only identify the person but we can also identify the objects being carried by the person. Like if a person is walking nearby the street light with a gun, then based on the picture we can even send alerts to the nearest police station. This will be done by our Machine Learning model
