How to Connect Ultra96 FPGA with FTDI UART-Arduino Module

We have showed up the process of interconnecting the FTDI module with Ultra96 [FTDI module is an alternative of: Avnet JTAG-UART Module].

The FTDI module we have used is as shown in figure below. You can find the exact same type of FTDI module on Amazon or eBay:

This FTDI module is similar to: FTDI Basic Breakout - 3.3V

For interconnection between Ultra96 and FTDI module, here are the steps:

• Set your FTDI module on 3.3v, if you put it on 5v then it might harm your Ultra96
• Connect the FTDI [TXD] pin with Ultra96[Rx]
• Connect FTDI [RXD] with Ultra96[Tx]
• Connect the FTDI [GND] with Ultra96[GND]
