Hi!
To celebrate Pi day I created a Max MSP patch which generates electronic music from the first 10,000 decimal places of Pi.
Right now it reads Pi from a long text file, but the idea is that this project will be recreated to utilise a 'spigot algorithm' so that the digits can be generated, rather than read from a file, and the whole program will be recreated in Pure Data instead of Max MSP so that it could be run on a Raspberry Pi (like the tasty new Raspberry Pi Zero W that I should *totally* win for this contest entry, for instance). Using a spigot algorithm would mean the code could be nice and small, and yet would remove the current limitation of the music being generated from just the first 10,000 decimal places, and as such the piece of music could be infinitely long...
Beep boop. Let's dance to Pi!
