We are a team of UC Berkeley undergraduates who aim to help with the future of assistive technology for individuals with quadriplegia. Our goal is to design a functioning tool that is wearable and able to detect eye movement to act as a computer mouse. Our teammates met in a non-profit on our campus known as EnableTech which is not only a club but class that works on designs that aid Need Knowers through assistive technology projects. Our team members are Gabi Choi, Shivani Kishnani, Shikhar Gupta, Kyelo Torres and myself Dante Castro. We were inspired by the aim of the class as stated by facilitator Francisco Peralta, "My vision is a future in which people with disabilities have the means and resources to enjoy life."
