Overview
This is my first ever maker project, so I'll be needing some help.
It's a 2-axis controlled gimbal to stabilize movement from the photographer (much like a steadycam). There are pre-made kit's out there but I've only bought the controller board, 2 brushless motors and a compact Li-Ion battery.
I did the gimbal structure in SolidWorks (see pic), and it needs to be CAM-ed and CNC-ed (maybe we can do this at Techshop?). The controller board needs to be understood and firmwared - probably even a bit hacked. Then it all needs to be put together and tested.
Don't know if this project is in scope of the Makathon, but I thought I'd put it up here just in case. So if someone has a GoPro (I don't) and wants to help out: let's make this happen! :)
