Fish farming in aquaculture is the world’s fastest growing sector within the food industry, providing nearly 50 percent of fish consumed globally and creating more than 5 million jobs worldwide Farmers are losing 15-25 percent of their investment due to diseases in every crop in the season. This requires regular, sustainable and cost-effective monitoring of the water quality. Such monitoring needs devices to detect the water quality in a large sea area at different depths in real time. This underlines the need for continuous and precise monitoring of the aquatic environment, fish behavior and the functionality of technical equiment. We are developing AUV for monitoring the aquaculture.
