I used a two-way mirror, an old android tablet, and some tools to fix the tablet behind the mirror.
A two-way mirror can be bought by itself, or you can add a mirror window film to a window glass.
I developed a small angular application that will get the data, then display it randomly on the screen. The application has a dark background to improve the magic mirror impression.
