Sensory Cardboard

The Final Product

In representing prickly, cold, splat, and boing in cardboard form, I decided to create an ice cream bowl.

1) Prickly is represented by the sharp edges of the bowl and the point of the ice cream cone.
2) Cold is represented by ice cream - ice cream is a dessert often (always?) enjoyed cold.
3) Splat is represented by the puddle of melted ice cream - when ice cream is scooped, it is splatted onto the bowl, immediately creating upon collision a puddle that only grows as ice cream melts.

4) Boing is represented by the spring elements on the bottom of the bowl - they act to make eating ice cream a much more bouncy experience.
