Tarab

Tarab is based on the AdaFruit Textile Potentiometer Hoodie project.

I've written up the process (including faulty parts, setting the project on fire, trouble with the IDE, etc) on my blog.

I've also written up a more political take for Omni Media, in which I explore the joy of finding out that the all-girl Afghani team competing in the FIRST Global robotics competition were finally allowed to enter the United States and how this impacted my feelings at completing my project. (In short: everyone deserves the opportunity to participate in technology, and I couldn't finish my project with unalloyed satisfaction when I knew there were talented young women out there being prevented from achieving something far greater.)
