2 years ago, I wanted to see what was possible to do with an Arduino Due.
Since I love analogue synth and I spend years trying to get the same sound with digital synthesis, I tried coding with the Due.
Things ended with a digital, semi-modular, analogue style synthesizer. Small, but very powerful and flexible, it provides an incredible sound quality. Dedicated to knob addicts, this synthesizer is full of features that define its own unique sound.
The hardware is a huge PCB, fill with lot's of demux (4051) in order to get all fader information in the Due, and a very good audio codec (wm8731). The WM8731 is controlled by the Arduino via I²S. It's not officially supported by the DUE, but by the SAM3X and all mandatory pin are available.
Knobs are 3d printed and inked in black , then cut to get the white line.
Wood box is cut via a big CNC, manually sanded, and waxed.
