BIRDAR (Bird Detection and Ranging

I always like to see hummingbirds but they are hard to capture in pictures. This project will explore the limits of detection of the Walabot.

A Walabot board is used to detect hummingbirds with microwaves. Microwaves are great for detecting water, and hummingbirds are mostly water, so there you go!

A raspberry pi receives targeting information from the Walabot board. The pi uses a REST service via Python and Flask.

Target data can be collected through the REST service using a simple Xamarin application on an Android phone.
