Our project, InnoScribe, is about creating an inclusive and affordable learning tool for children with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) like dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, dyspraxia, and ADHD. It combines a smart gesture-based writing pen with a modular writing pad featuring both LCD and Braille displays to make reading, writing, and learning more accessible and engaging. We decided to build this because we saw a huge gap in affordable educational tools for neurodivergent children—most existing solutions are either too expensive or limited in functionality. By leveraging technologies like AI, machine learning, and haptics, we wanted to provide a multi-sensory, personalized learning experience that could empower these children to learn independently, boost their confidence, and help them thrive both in classrooms and at home. The project also brings inclusivity and reduces dependency on others during exams, allowing students to navigate their assessments with greater autonomy and confidence.
