The idea behind this project, is too allow easy direct control over any smart device from a distance. You shoot a laser mounted on your hand at a target, then the connected component turns on.
The idea came when thinking of ideas for a capstone project for an IoT bootcamp. I thought it may be funny to point a finger gun at a light, and when you "shot" it, the light turned on.
So I went with the concept, and designed a great piece of hardware with 5 photoresistors. Inside the code, I wrote a library to read the photoresistors in a similar manner to how OneButton works. With this I was able to create a smart system allowing me to have multiple states and control multiple things!
Whenever I aim my hand laser at the target I can control lights, smart outlets, send keys-bindings to my computer, etc. The possibilities are endless!
