Travel Info

Introduction:

We know that Alexa is getting smart everyday and we are hoping for it to be more useful and be a part of our daily life even more. But there are a couple of small basic things which it is still lacking. Travel info is a skill which is aimed to fill in one of those small details which are missing.

Travel Info will provide us with driving time and driving distance to a given address based on real time traffic conditions. It can also provide us the same details to any near by place like restaurant, subway, airport, pharmacy, mexican restaurant .. the list goes on.

How To Use:

Once you start the skill it will ask you to give the home address. That address will be used for all the requests which come in.

From there you can ask it for how long it takes to get to a address or to a nearest place.

How To Deploy:

The skill is developed using the flask-ask module. The link to the GitHub repo in the code section of the project and it also has instructions on how to configure and install the skill.
