This project used both the Qualcomm Toq and an Android Phone to allow users to contribute Free Speech Movement art from their phone. When using the Toq, if a user is within 50 meters of Sproul Plaza, their watch vibrates with a notification assigning the user with a random drawing request. The user can read from the request, which of the six activists assigned the drawing. They can scroll through the cards to choose the activist. From there, the user learns what to draw. The Free Speech Movement Application on the phone opens up allowing a user to draw anything. In my application, the user can select from 11 colors and 3 different brush sizes. The user can restart their drawing at any time and can erase any part of the drawing as well. Once the user is done with their drawing, they have to save the photo to the gallery. Once the photo is saved, which takes a few minutes, the user can pick it and upload it onto flickr with a tag. Once the user uploads a photo they get a notification about a drawing received from their classmate as a gift for sharing their art. In my implementation, I wasn't able to download the picture from Flickr but a card was created and a notification is sent.
Below is my Flickr account because they would not upload on the tag although they were tagged.
