Training Process: Annotated Dataset

To train the Classification Model, the team leveraged a diverse dataset obtained from Roboflow. This dataset, comprising images of jeans, jackets, shoes, and shirts, facilitated efficient training and ensured accurate annotations. The collaboration with Roboflow streamlined the training process, enabling the model to accurately classify clothing items with varying styles and appearances.

Similarity Detection Model: Siamese Networks Unveiled

The heart of StyleSync's Similarity Detection Model lies in the implementation of Siamese networks, a specialized neural network architecture designed for tasks involving similarity and distance measurement. This network excels in discerning visual similarities between pairs of input samples. Training the Siamese network involved using pairs of examples, with positive pairs representing similar images and negative pairs representing dissimilar images.

To train the Siamese network effectively, the team collected pairs of inputs labeled as either similar or dissimilar. The Siamese network adjusted its weights through backpropagation, maximizing similarity between similar images and minimizing similarity between dissimilar ones.
