1. Remove the Maker UNO + from the packaging and you will find a set of label sticker.
2. Peel offthe stickers and attach them on the pin headers for both side.
For Window Users:
1. Connect Maker UNO + to your PC with the micro USB cable provided.
2. You will see a pop up appeared at the right bottom of your window. Click it.
3. Then you will see a window saying the USB driver is being updated and installed.
4. The installation will take a few minutes. Once it is completed, you will see a message as shown below. You need to take note on the virtual COM port number showed. For my case, it is COM4. It may be different from your computer.
For Mac Users:
1. For most of the Mac’s users (OS V10.11 and above), FTDI driver is not required. You can proceed to Part 3 directly.
Part 3: Download & Install Arduino IDE1. Log on to https://www.arduino.cc/en/main/software.
2. Choose your OS to proceed.
3. Arduino IDE is an open source software that allows you to download and use it for free.
However, you are encouraged to make a monetary contribution to help them to continue to fund their development. Anyway, you are free to click “JUST DOWNLOAD”.
4. Double click on the downloaded file to proceed.
5. Once installation is completed, the Arduino’s icon should appear at your desktop. Double click the icon to launch the Arduino IDE.
6. Please ensure that your Maker UNO + is connected to your computer before we proceed to the next step.
7. At the Arduino IDE, go to Tools > Boards, then select “Arduino/Genuino Uno”.
8. Next, you need to connect to the right port at Tools > Port.
