A programmable infrared remote control receiver unit for Nakamichi cassette decks (RM-5 replacement). It supports the basic functions: play, stop, pause, fast forward, rewind, record and reverse.
Built into a metal project box with CNC routed holes and laser engraved text.
Based on an ESP8266 microcontroller (Wemos D1 mini). It connects to the deck with an 8 pin DIN plug.
