DIY Tablet PC

This is my attempt at recreating the Surface Pro from Microsoft.

Things used in this project

Hardware components

LattePanda 2GB/32GB (Unactivated)

7" screen

PAM8403 2 Channel Audio Amplifier 3Wx2 with Volume Control

Speaker: 3W, 4 ohms

I used a smaller speaker so it fits inside the case

flat hdmi cable

Used to connect the screen to the lattepanda

Powerbank charger circuit

This is the one I used to charge 4 18650 cells in parraler but you can use other li ion cahrgers

Li-Ion Battery 1000mAh

I used 18650 cells but you can use any type of battery in combination with a charger that can supply 2 amps

Software apps and online services

Microsoft Windows 10

You might need to activate windows,depending on the board you buy.

Story

I wanted to recreate the Microsoft Surface with the detachable keybaord and add more unique features like a camera that would rotate 180 degrees from the body of the tablet, becoming a selfie camera. I also wanted to have two speakers instead of one, and the detchable keyboard but there was no room left. I am personally using this tablet in my workshop for research since I don't have any compuer/laptop in my workshop. I might consider buying a USB osciloscope to use with this tablet.I also made a YouTube video on how to build the tablet!
