Intelligent fridges are like the oldest idea in home automation, but have not come to live yet.
Currently, high-tech companies such as LG or Samsung develop (not so) smart fridges. These cost about 3000$ and put Facebook onto a screen at the fridge door. Who needs that?
Clued-Up is different. It concentrates solely on free the user from manually keeping an overview on the groceries. Clued-Up automatically identifies items put into the fridge. They appear on a list that you can access whereever you are using your Android device.
Clued-Up even recognizes when you remove an item from the fridge. It updates your list. Even more, it reminds of you that you ran out of that item when you are in the grocery store. You may want to refill your inventory!
