Installing the Arduino create agent (plugin)

Background

The Arduino Create plugin allows your arduino board, connected locally via USB to communicate with the Arduino IOT Cloud.

Installing the agent involved the following parts:

• Installing the Arduino Create plugin on your computer

• Verifying the plugin installation

Part 1 - Installing the plugin

In your browser, go to https://create.arduino.cc/getting-started/plugin.

You will see the following initlal page:

Click Start

Click Download

Follow the prompts to install

Part 2 - Verifying the plugin installation

With the installation completed, return to the browser, you will see the following screen

The agent will be displayed in the bottom bar of your Desktop

Congratulations - You have successfully installed the Arduino Create plugin.
