The Pylepton Zero is a portable demonstration platform for the FLIR Lepton thermal imager and our pylepton software library for the Raspberry Pi. Pylepton lets you quickly get images from Lepton on a Raspberry Pi.
EnclosureFirst we designed an enclose/stand to hold all of the components together.
The parts were printed using a Flashforge Creator Pro and glued together. Standoffs were added for the Raspberry Pi Zero.
Solder the headers to the Zero, flash the MicroSD card and attach it to the Pylepton Zero.
Route the wires and insert the rechargeable USB battery packs.
Use some very strong Velcro to mount the monitor.
Install the LCD screen and wire that up to the Zero.
Hook up the Raspberry Pi Camera and FLIR Lepton Breakout Board to the Zero.
Finally load up the Pylepton software...it works!
