RasPiBox Pico is an enclosure set for the new Raspberry Pi Pico microcontroller board by the Raspberry Pi Foundation. The heart is an additional pcb with integrated voltage regulator and breadboard. It fits together with the Raspberry Pi Pico in a 4 module DIN rail enclosure.
The kit includes a prototyping PCB with integrated 5V power supply. So you can use for example 24V DC by the cabinet to power the Pico inside the enclosure.
PCB assemblyIn the first step you have to assemble the PCB of the RasPiBox Pico kit. Please follow the construction manual.
Now you can add optional circuits to the breadboard area.
PCB MountingMount the pcb in the bottom shell of the enclosure and fix it with 2 screws
now you can plug the Raspberry Pi Pico to the main PCB:
Depending on the used terminals you have to remove the terminal covers of the top shell.
These covers comes with rated break points. You can remove it with a screw driver and a nose pliers
After mounting the top shell you be ready to mount the RasPiBox Pico in a cabinet:
