Today we deal with the functionality of a cock ring: I have taken one apart for you. First I pushed a round case with a slide switch out of the upper part. The opening of the housing could easily be done along the interface with a thin screwdriver. The housing is only attached with 3 PINs.
In addition to the slide switch, 3 other components have dropped out:
- a 1.5V button cell battery of the L754 type,
- a mini vibration motor and
- an element closing the circuit made of copper or sheet metal.
I was able to put the components back together with a bit of a fingertip feeling, but with the idea of connecting a small RF Link 433 MHz controller to it so that the vibration motor could also be switched on or off remotely. But let us leave this thought aside and focus on the vibration motor and the circuit:
As soon as the motor is brought to the negative pole of the battery, the circuit is closed and the vibration begins. The positive pole is taken over by the conductive terminals of the third hand.
This is adapted by means of the bent plate: as soon as the slide switch is moved to the center, the plate is additionally brought to the positive pole of the battery.
So far I only knew the flat vibration motors that are built into smartphones and so I got to know another type of motors that produce a low unbalance. In the Far East I found them at retailers. After looking through my fund, I found 2 more: on the left in the picture with a straight shaft and on the right in the picture a similar vibration motor with the connection cables out.
It is remarkable where we encounter electronics, isn't it?
