Balloon Bomb is a fun project that will blow you away. It is inspired by and partially based on the popular online game "Keep talking and Nobody Explodes" but with a physical bomb you can build yourself. All puzzles are either original or have been re-designed and re-written to avoid violating copyright.
The bomb uses a balloon as it's “explosive” which is popped/punctured by a pin when time has expired or too many mistakes have been made.
To disarm the bomb it must be connected to a PC on which the "Timed Explosive Device Analyzer" runs.
This actually is another project of mine called "VirtualPanel" which provides a user interface for the Arduino running on Windows.
The bomb must be defused through teamwork.
One or two of the participants work on the Bomb and the TEDA (on the PC) while the other team members, at a distance, are reading the defusion manual.
The game is about communicating efficiently. The bomb defusers indicate which module is to be played, and the participants with the manual then look up what to do and communicate this back to the defusers.
The timer starts as soon as the bomb is connected to the TEDA the counter is set to a time depending on the complexity of the bomb.
