You may have a friend or loved one which suffers from a specific health condition. Sometimes, they have attacks without you knowing. You may also have a family member which suffers from a mental condition which lets them wander off randomly. In these situations some sort of "detector" can help. With a detector in hand you can be less worried about them since you can determine when they suffer the most from their diseases. This project can work with a set of sensors like gravity sensors and GPS modules.
