QUAKES is an Android phone and wear application. Upon the update of a new earthquake, the phone side of the application goes directly to a map of the location of the earthquake, and a notification and vibration shows on the phone side.
Once the notification is open, the user can shake the watch to pull images from nearby the earthquake. The images are then shown on the phone side. Once the user is done viewing images, they can click to exit.
Notice that the newest earthquake has been added to the list.
The application also has a "recent quakes list". The user can scroll through the list, selecting which of the most recent quakes they want to view. Upon selection, we go through the life cycle of the app again. The user has freedom to view anything on the map, with touch gestures supported, and as many pictures as they would like with shakes of the watch. Once through with viewing, the user is returned to the recent quakes screen with a click of the watch, and the process starts again.
The entire life cycle of the application is very clean, user friendly, and the selection of color was made to match the Google Maps.
Below are the .apk files for the mobile and wear apps.
