When I graduated from high school my parents gave me a Snoopy stuffed animal with a graduation cap.
Out of all the stuffed animals I could've brought with me to college, Snoopy was the only one.
From freshman year to now, Snoopy has sat on my desk and has been my companion through it all.
I put various objects on Snoopy I've collected from my time at Cal:
A pin of memorial stadium I got from convocation freshman year. A yellow ribbon that signifies suicide awareness since I'm part of a mental health awareness club -- You Mean More. And a blue ribbon/bow around its neck I tied in my hair for the Big Game. Also, as you can see on my laptop, there's a Snoopy decal given to me by someone I met in Berkeley who had a great influence on my time here.
So I decided to 3D print a similar Snoopy, but portable so I could take it around with me and experience more with it.
I took the body of Snoopy and the graduation hat from the internet, made a torus, and combined them in Audodesk.
After 3D printing, Snoopy's feet snapped off as I took the support material out, so I superglued them back on.
Then I painted him a bit with acrylic paint.
I might add things such as Cal stickers to this Snoopy in the future too as I did for the stuffed animal. It depends what I come across.
I probably won't be wearing it around my neck though.
