Bee hive remote monitor

Bee hives are a precious commodity. Many times they are placed in remote, hard to reach areas.

Using the Pioneer kit we can prototype a beehive monitor that will track the bee hives temperature and humidity. If they are not within a predefined range an alert is sent to the bee keeper. The bee keeper can also check the temperature and humidity rates in real-time.

Using the motion and proximity sensors, theft and tampering can be dealt with, alerting the bee keeper in real-time. Using the GPS module the beehive can be tracked in case of theft.
