USB-TTL Adapter:
Pins:
TODO:
Read moreI'm using a cp2102 as USB-TTL Adapter, you should connect:
- RX => TX
- TX => RX
- GND => GND
- 5v => jack 2.1 middle contact
With 5v from usb-ttl adapter work fine for me, I can program and connect to wifi. You shouldn't use 3.3v from cp2102.
- The 8 pins of esp01 are exposed.
- 5v and extra GND are available.
- Extra pin to connect external CH_PD is available, I'm using a jumper with pull up to 3.3v
Power supply should by with VCC outside.
- Add a diode in jack input to prevent cross GND and 5v.
- Connect RTS with pin 2 and DTR with pin 7 (with pull up 4.7k?) and the esp will be auto programming (don't require press any button). I've tested it with this version of breakout and work fine!... comming soon v2!
Any more, I wait for your feedback!
