If a “normal” smartwatch doesn’t really suit your needs, then perhaps this model, featuring a Raspberry Pi Zero will do the trick. According to the projects writeup, it “can run most Linux apps” and is billed as the “the ultimate programmable remote control.” As to why creator Jeremy Lee needed one of these, he’s into digital astronomy, and running back and forth between a PC and telescope is quite inconvenient.

Besides being an excellent electronics hack, implementing a gyroscopic mouse for wrist movement control and a small LCD screen, it is nicely mounted in a leather wrist strap. He did this by squeezing the whole thing into a not-full sized Dr. Who Vortex manipulator! Perfect for astronomy, or, as seen in the video, the occasional game of Minecraft.
