Who remembers back in 2000 when Burger King gave away Game Boy Color toys with their Kids Meals? Well, Chase Lambeth recently decided to cram a Raspberry Pi Zero into one of them and convert it into a fully-functional “Game Boy Color Nano.”

Apparently, Lambeth had been working on a similar project for months until one day he came across an Instagram user who had managed to successfully get three of the units up and running, and was willing to sell one for $250.

The repurposed toy uses a two-inch LCD display for graphics, the RetroPie emulator, and of course, the Raspberry Pi.

Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. Check out the entire mod in pictures here.
