Many of us today have a bit of an obsession with productivity. But that doesn’t necessarily mean working long hours — it’s far more efficient to simply make the most of the hours you do spend working. There are many ways to increase your productivity, and many of those are about streamlining how you use your computer. Shortcuts and macros can certainly help a lot, as can using multiple monitors so that you can see all of your work at once without having to switch between windows. D Myster was able to fit three entire monitors into their portable command center for productivity on the go.

It’s easy enough to connect multiple monitors to a desktop computer by simply adding a graphics card that has multiple video output ports. But most laptops only have, at most, a single HDMI output port. To take advantage of that, you’d have to setup a monitor somewhere with a power source. D Myster’s “command center” integrates all three monitors and the computer hardware itself into one relatively compact package. That package is a locking briefcase that measures 16.5 x 9 x 4.5 inches. With all of the hardware inside, it weighs 14.5 pounds. That’s not light, but it’s certainly better than a typical triple-monitor PC setup.

This command center packs some fairly powerful hardware, considering the size. It’s built around a BMAX B2 Mini PC, which has a quad-core Intel Celeron N3450 processor, integrated Intel HD 500 graphics, 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM, and storage expanded to 1TB NVMe and another 256GB microSD. Each of the monitors is 13.3” and has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. D Myster added a fingerprint scanner for security and a special locking mechanism for the monitors. That mechanism is actuated by servos controlled by an Arduino Micro. There is even room in the briefcase for an iClever folding keyboard and a Microsoft Arc mouse. It doesn’t have a battery, so it needs to be plugged into an outlet to work. But this command center is still perfect for productive work at coffee shops.
