This project is meant to take the viewer into another perspective, one of a conductor of a band. The user is meant to put the glove on and press the button in the middle to recalibrate the code. Once that is done, there will be a little animation notifiying you that you are ready to begin. Once you select a note that you want to begin with, you will tilt your hand in a direction (up, down, left, or right) to alter the note/pitch to allow other instruments to tune to that note. Each time you tilt your hand in a direction, it changes the note by a half-step, or if you are unaware of what that is, it is just the next note right or left. Additionally, the small board on top of the glove will light up to notify you that the base note has changed and tilting the glove upwards will reset the note to the one you began with.
This project takes the user into the perspective of a band conductor and I thought it would be a fun experience for others to gain as well since I was a part of a large band and never had the opportunity to be the conductor and thought it would be fun. This gives other people, as well as myself, a small glimpse and feeling of what it would feel like to be the conductor and could also assist a real conductor by producing accurate notes that other instruments could tune themselves to.
