ioTank was pioneered to help in herpetoculture (the keeping of reptiles) and horticulture. The ioTank hardware is only half of the solution, as there is also a cloud component we host at https://objectsyndicate.com/ and an open source Django server on GitHub. Django running on a r-pi can use the GPIOs+MOSFET for automation with PLC.
