Once upon a time, a man went to a government auction. He saw two really nice Pelican Cases and bought them. When he got them home, there was something inside them!
He didn't know what they were, but on each of the green PCB antennas was a set of letters and a number. When he googled it, he found out it was Kent Britain's call sign.
Kent is a microwave antenna designer. The man asked Kent what the equipment could possibly be for. Kent had no idea, but asked around to see if what looked like a set of antenna arrays could find a new home.
And that's when I adopted the orphans and started working on reverse engineering them. If we can understand them and get them to work, then we'll use them in amateur radio experiments. Regardless of whether we can get them to work again, we will publish all of what we find.
