So my goal was to create a mobile piano that could be played on the go. While it is not loud, I believe it can be used to practice playing simple scales and songs. This device can be used to play simple songs such as Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, as demonstrated in the video below. I thought this would be a fun project to do. For this project I decided to make a box instead of getting one as it makes it easier to attach the alligator clips to the top.
First, get some paper, I chose white to more be like a piano, and attach it to the top piece of your box.
Then, draw some keys in the middle of the paper using a ruler or other straightedge tool.
Then, cut out decent sized pieces of copper tape and attach them to each of the keys, making sure to wrap it to the under side of the box.
Then, attach your alligator clips to each of the pieces of tape, making sure it is secure.
Then, cut holes in the back of your box for the alligator clips to run through so that they can be on the inside.
Lastly, attach all of your clips to the appropriate pins on your CPX. Then put it inside the box, you can then close up that side if you wish. I did not for demonstration purposes. Make sure once all pins are on the enter bootloader mode by pressing the reset key twice.
And there you go, you have your object, if you want you can write which notes each key is like I did here.
