Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Learn more how customers reviews work on AmazonCustomers say
Customers find the solar panel works well, particularly for smaller batteries in average sun, and appreciate its build quality and energy efficiency, with one customer noting it generates up to 3.6 watts in full sun. However, the value for money receives mixed feedback, with some saying it's worth the money while others report it failing after a few months. The battery charging capability also gets mixed reviews, with some customers successfully using it to recharge Li-on batteries.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 27, 2019I bought 2 solar powered flood lights a year ago that were perfect for my application. The lights are supposed to stay on all night in the dim mode and brighten when motion is detected. One light worked properly and is still working as it should. The other light would only last about an hour. I contacted the vendor and was sent a replacement, same thing, the replacement would only last about an hour. I contacted the vendor again and was just given a refund for the bad light. So I ended up with one light that stays on all night, every night, and 2 lights that only last an hour. I decided to roll the dice and buy these panels not knowing if the problem was the battery or the solar panels. I replaced the panels in both lights, let them sit in the sun for a day and now both of the bad lights come on at dusk and are stay lit until the sun comes. The original panels were 150x144mm and these are 150x130mm. They fit the frame one way and leave a little gap the other way which isn't an issue at all, I'm just glad they work as they should.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 10, 2023Each panel in my kit gives 5w. The description on this product seems to indicate that in series these panels would have a total of 5w. That's not the case for mine which is fine for my usage. I have them wire in parallel to work at 5w and produce more amps. So depending on your use case this might be important to know. Other than that these work great. Solider on your wires, build a frame and put them in the sun.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 1, 2023Used this to power a yard ornament and it worked great for 2 years. Then the ornament microcontroller started locking up. I first suspected the battery the panel charges through a controller. Replaced that but still had to be resetting the microcontroller to get it working again because even with a new battery, the battery wasn’t being fully charged. Replaced the panel and all is fine again.
The plastic encapsulant had gotten dull over almost the entire surface and was blocking a lot of the light transmission. The panel itself seems still good but the plastic overcoat shadows it. Might try sanding and polishing the overcoat to see if performance comes back but coatings on a solar panel ought to stand up to sunlight.
Still, for the price they aren’t bad. The performance just drops off after around 2 years.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 15, 2024I really liked these at first, but they are now all failing after a few months in the sun. They have large white splotches that form beneath the surface and can't be buffed out. Output drops dramatically. Total waste of time and money. This company must have done zero research on the materials they used.

5.0 out of 5 stars ほぼ2W出力しました

5.0 out of 5 stars Seem to do the job
I used these for a solar battery charger project, and they worked as advertised.

4.0 out of 5 stars Well made, matches the description
These were in a good condition, but the backs were all scratched up. I purchased them to charge a battery for a project to power an esp8266 board, and only one is required for that purpose. Great cell and matches the description.
