This is a great price for 4 holders. The holders work nice and the fit is really tight. You can't remove the batteries unless you use a screwdriver or some other pry tool. I was able to use a pen. The wires coming out of the holder are really thin. I would not use it for more than a 1/2 amp or so. I used it to power a .5 amp device and it was fine and the wires did not get hot. If I was going to use it for higher current, I would solder heavier gauge wires to the holders. But it works and its an amazing price. Definitely a good deal and worth it.

Basic fit and function is good. One wire on my units came off so i resoldered. Considering these are designed for 18650 lithium, the wires are too low a guage. Most 18650 lithium batteries can produce a great deal of current, especially if a short circuit occurs. I was using Samsung 30Q batteries capable of 15amp high drain applications in a light/medium duty application, and the wires got more than warm to the point that they were softening. I don't trust the insulation is up to the task or the guage sufficient enough to trust this product to those not in the know.
I have since changed out the wires to 18Ga silicone wiring.

I wouldn't even think about using these for high drain service even with upgraded wiring. The springs would most likely heat up and melt the plastic at 15 amps continuous drain. For powering an arduino or similar low drain application these are ok.

Use an inline fuse to be safe. A short circuit could very well lead to a fire. Lithium batteries have a lot more stored energy than typical batteries consumers deal with. Look on youtube for 18650 lithium battery safety to gain more understanding.
If you use these in the correct application and with a fuse, this is a viable option.
