The module uses the PCF8574, which enables most MCUs to implement remote I/O port expansion via two bidirectional buses (I2C).

Compatible with 16x2 and 20x4 LCD displays

Up to 8 PCF8574T IO Expansion Board can be connected to the I2C-bus, providing up to 64 I/O ports.

The AZ-Delivery FC-113 I2C Display Driver allows you to reduce cable use from 16 to 4.

With the AZ-Delivery FC-113 I2C display adapter you can reduce cable usage from 16 to 4. Thanks to the configurable I2C address, you can also control a total of 6 drivers, and thereby the same number of displays, with the same number of controllers. Using the jumper and potentiometer you can control the backlight or the contrast of the display independently of the code. Operating voltage of I2C interface module adapter is 5V. Inter-Integrated Circuit can be connected by Dupont Line or I2C dedicated cable. With this I2C interface module, you will be able to actualize data using only 2 wires.
