How to match the transmitter and receiver

Step 1. Delete existing data: Press learning button(on the receiver) 8 times.

Response: LED flashes 7 times.

Step 2. Learning remote code: press learning button(on the receiver) once, twice or three times .(choose one mode)

Press once: Inching mode (Momentary Mode)

Press twice: self-Lock Mode (Toggle-Mode of the 4 Channels)

Press three times: interlocked mode (selected channel active and be cleared， if another channel becomes active)

LED turns on: learning mode is active.

Press any button of the remote control.

LED indicator flashes three times: learning successfully completed.

Step 3. Test: after the above operation , the receiver board can be controlled by the remote control. More transmitters with different IDs can be learned and stored additionally, starting with step 2. A mixture of different modes is possible.

Q: When the wireless relay is powered down, does it need to be paired and reprogrammed again?

A: No, it does not.

Q: I have only successfully paired/programmed one remote control, how can I make the second and third remote controls work as well?

A: You only need to pair the second and third remote controls with the wireless relay one after another.Please do not reset the relay during this process; otherwise, all previously paired/programmed remotes will become ineffective.

Q: How do I change the mode?

A:If you want to change the mode of a programmed/paired remote, you must reset the wireless relay and then select a new mode to pair (use with caution, as resetting will make all remotes paired with this relay ineffective).

The VT pin has 2 functions：

1, Using VT to control the LED as an Indicator, when any pin D0-D3 signal output, VT have a signal output at the same time.

2, Using VT and +V can replace the button function on the receiver.

(Note：The VT terminal is active when a signal is received, i.e. if any of the 4 channels is "turned on" the VT line is "turned on".）

I am having terrific fun with these units. So far so good. Testing out all good and rugged enough. Solid performance helped me to figure out troubles with other transmitters. I made a transmitter tester that makes me smile. WHAT? ... I needed buttons, and it works great. I found limits of the range acceptable for most applications without the need for the antenna. I did notice the range increase with the antenna. The antenna was required to clone (scetchy) key fob remote. (from a different seller). I believe it took the strength of this unit to get those key fobs working. Rated current is 10-20ma? Seems on par. No actual measurements. It is a healthy usable signal

    Update: The module is working now and I am happy with the product. The problem I had was in the instructions. It does not tell you that you have to set the "Working Mode" before you pair the modules. Also the instruction video from Qiachip clearly shows that you can change the working mode after you pair the modules. I wanted the receiver to latch it's output "on" and turn the channel off with the same button. That is selection 2 in the working mode.

    I really wanted to like this transceiver. Very simple to use with good range and small. However, the "Multiple Working Mode" will not shift between the "3" options. It is stuck in "Momentary Mode" and this will not work for my application so it is useless to me. I sent a support issue to Qiachip but they did not reply so don't count on "Product Support" from Qiachip, very disappointed!!!

    Didn't know what to expect I have a lot of RF background and was amazed at the specs Receiver sensitivity and RF output. I did a RF propagation calculation to see if it would meet my needs and it did. The big thing was would it meet the specs they gave me. Well I am pleased to say it did. I need a device that I could send some switch closures to the remote receiver. I have a large building a distance from my house over 150 feet and I wanted to get an alarm if my smoke detector went off. I had to make a modification to the detector to interface to the transmitter but it works great. Did not have to trench to run wires and the cost for these devices are Great. I had no problem pairing the devices and plan on doing the same thing in another building. I bought the ten pack so I would have additional ones for future projects. I love that if I am not happy with my order I can return them and get my money back. I love Amazon what a GREAT company. Hope this was helpful and encourages you to give it a try.

    Got this to add some RF remote capabilities to my arduino project. Was easy and straight forward setup, and range seems to be adequate even without the supplied antenna attached (which appears to require soldering). I didn't have a soldering kit, so went through without the antenna, and the range seems to still be enough for my purposes. Tested at least 20-30 feet, through a thin aluminum case, through 2 wooden walls, might have even pointed the remote in opposite direction as well, but don't remember.

    EDIT 2023: Moved the project into a vehicle, and range became horrible, even with antenna soldered to chip! The range is now barely 5-10 feet, and remote must be pointed directly at the device getting closer to the 10 foot range. Not sure what the issue is, reaching out to qiachip support through email, otherwise, may need another solution for my project.

    The only issue, which was kind of a big one to be honest, is that the remote did not come with a battery, and is some off size battery (at least to me) I think the size was like A22 or A23 or something like that.

    Obviously can just order a battery online or whatever, but I was trying to make sure if what I was attempting to do with my arduino project was even possible in case I needed to change directions, so I tried to get a battery local.

    At 10:00 at night, Walmart was my best option, I thought. Online it showed 3 locations near me had this size in stock. All 3 of them did not. By close to 11pm, there was 1 more Walmart I could have checked, but would not have made it by closing (close at 11pm here).

    Finally went to a 24 hour walgreens about 20 minutes drive away from me, and they thankfully had the correct battery size.

    That being said, can not really knock the product for this issue, but apparently it's not a typical battery size, and most places around me seemed to not have them in stock, so definitely would have been nice to receive a battery with this

    Utilizzato per controllare a distanza un motore stepper ed un servo tramite un clone di Arduino. Si integra perfettamente nel codice perchè non ha bisogno di alcuna libreria, bisogna semplicemente inviare l’output desiderato quando si riceve l’input proveniente dal pin digitale collegato allo specifico canale del ricevitore. Per quanto riguarda la portata è ottima, prende attraverso i muri di casa a svariati metri di distanza, in campo libero ho testato fino a 30 metri circa e riceve alla perfezione, credo posso ricevere da ben più lontano. La prima volta che si accende bisogna impostare la modalitá di ricezione desiderata premendo il pulsante presente sul modulo altrimenti non funziona nulla (bisogna farlo solo la prima volta poi funziona sempre appena viene acceso) io ho impostato la prima modalità. Il telecomando è di buona fattura e ha le pile incluse quindi è un ottimo prodotto dopotutto per 10€.

    The units work but you can’t trigger multiple channels simultaneously, only one channel works at a time, I had four buttons wired to transmitter and four leds wired to receiver, I had the units programmed for momentary operation.
    The receiver is also slow to respond, I hooked up transmitter to arduino a pulsed a button input @ 50 ms, I checked receiver output on a scope and it could not reproduce to 50 ms pulse, it output a pulse of 200 ms

    Good range. Easy to pair. There is a logic to the pairing. Reciver data lines go high. Pull transmitter pins low to transmit. Used with tasmota rf bridge. Can't send/receive custom data packets (as far as I can tell). Much better than the cheaper options.
