Sensor kit that everyone can use to learn electronics and programming
Electronics is not as complicated as you imagine especially with Elegoo 37-in-1 sensor kit. For advanced users like professional lab engineers, electronic major students and experienced hobbyists for starters, they can use this kit to do various kinds of tests and experiments with so many sensors available at hand.
What about novice users who don't have any electronics knowledge? Fear not amigo. Just follow our tutorial enclosed and step by step you will come to realize that learning electronics is more fun than you ever expected with this amazing sensor kit.
It’s a good choice and perfect gift for your friends, family or kids who are obsessed with electronics, programming or robotics to take their first steps on electronics journey!

Detailed and easy-to-follow tutorial helps you learn electronics without problems
An enjoyable and educational experience is definitely the priority option to learn electronics. Our detailed tutorial with 31 lessons ranges from simple projects like how to monitor temperature and humidity with temperature and humidity sensor to complex projects like how to achieve the goal of timing control switch using a 1 channel relay module. Easy to understand and easy to follow.
Schematics and wiring diagrams are also presented in out tutorial, which helps you better understand why those sensors are connected in that way. Besides that we also have the IDE for programming codes ready in the CD and our website. If you are a professional and prefer a little DIY you can also edit the codes as you wished and make it more personalized.
Multi-Projects you can do with this sensor kit (Boards not included)
Temperature and Humidity sensor
Digital temperature and humidity sensor is a composite sensor which contains a calibrated digital signal output of the temperature and humidity. The dedicated digital modules collection technology and the temperature and humidity sensing technology are applied to ensure that the product has high reliability and excellent long-term stability. The sensor includes a resistive sense of wet components and a NTC temperature measurement devices, and connects with a high-performance 8-bit microcontroller.
PIR Motion Sensor
PIR sensors allow you to sense motion, almost always used to detect whether a human has moved in or out of the sensors range. They are small, inexpensive, low-power, easy to use and don't wear out. For that reason they are commonly found in appliances and gadgets used in homes or businesses. PIRs are basically made of a pyroelectric sensor, which can detect levels of infrared radiation. Everything emits some low level radiation, and the hotter something is, the more radiation is emitted.
Triaxial acceleration triaxial gyroscope sensor
GY521 six-axis sensor usually consists of two which are accelerometer and gyroscope. The GY-521 is a 6 DOF (Degrees of Freedom) or a six axis IMU sensor, which means that it gives six values as output. Three values from the accelerometer and three from the gyroscope. It is also a sensor based on MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) technology. Both the accelerometer and the gyroscope is embedded inside a single chip. This chip uses I2C (Inter Integrated Circuit) protocol for communication.

Great Tutorial to get a newby started! Then use CoPilot!!!

- Reviewed in the United States on February 14, 2025A bunch of inexpensive sensors to experiment with. Pairs great with an Elegoo starter set, or any other Arduino based starter set. It's easy enough to figure out how to use the sensors by searching online for "<sensor name>" (pictures included help identification) and "arduino". Very fun to see what they can do!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 1, 2025I knew very little about Arduinos and had a need to learn for my model railroad. I have good electronics circuit knowledge, but no clue about coding and how to load that to a chip. The tutorial starts off simple and explains some things like what various inputs and outputs can handle up front. There are good photos and progresses you quickly through mini circuits to sample all the little do-dads this kit comes with, which is an impressive collection of sensors and output devices. In 1 day I went from having a concept of what I though it could do, to having it execute it. That was the result of using CoPilot AI to write my code. So, if you know electronics and can articulate with some specificity what you need the arduino to do, the code is written for you by copilot, copy and paste it to the arduino compiler and upload. Not working quite right? tell CoPilot what needs to be fixed, cooy/upload rinse repeat until you are satisfied. This kit opened a world of possibility to me and would be a great gift for that teenage lego lover that wants to move from those mechanical connections to more electrical. Then the arduino could be back integrated to automate the lego!!
*my photo contains a relay block output component not in the kit.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 2, 2018Let me state first I am totally 100% new to Arduino. It looks cool and I saw this kit and thought it would be a good way to get my feet wet. I've just now gotten time to start playing with this and have gotten to lesson four. The modules come in a nice sturdy plastic box and are all separated. There is an insert in the lid that shows you the location of each part with its image and its name, a few have the actual part number too. For instance, there is one named "temp and humidity" and one named "18b20 Temp". The instruction book shows you a picture of which module you should use with that activity lesson so it should be easy for anyone to identify what they need.
What this kit could use is some work in the information that it provides. This is not a tutorial on how to use Arduino, it's a tutorial for someone who already knows how to use an Arduino and who now wants to experiment using modules with it. Each lesson shows you how to wire things up, gives an explanation of what you are attempting to accomplish and why you are using that particular module. It also goes into some detail on why it's going to work the way it does and what the technical specifications for the module is but what got me was the very last part in the lessons- After I had everything connected and was ready to go the instructions simply said to "upload the program and open the monitor". What program??? There’s a monitor? How do I upload a program? What's the name of the program and where do I find it? How do I access this monitor thing? Through trial and error and various search engines I'm getting there. It seems the programs are there within the Arduino application but I have had to basically click on every example it has (there’s a lot) to find what I needed and learn how to use an Arduino on the fly.
I did have to download a new library for the temp sensor used in lesson two (which is actually the first lesson with connecting a module), it would not work with the code provided and I thought maybe it was a defective module but after downloading the “Arduino-Temperature-Control-Library-master” library from the internet it worked fine. Hopefully that’s a onetime thing but again it would have been nice to tell me what examples I need to load for each module to make it function. Lesson three worked fine although I still had to hunt for what example was needed for it within the menu. FYI an “Example” is a predefined piece of code based on the module you select and it loads the files needed to make the module work. The “monitor” is under Tools, it’s named “serial monitor” and opens a separate window so you can see the results your module is outputting if any after you have selected your example and have uploaded it to your Arduino.
So it’s a good kit from what I can tell being a newbie to all this. Buying these things separately would cost a lot more I’m sure. I imagine if I can figure out how to get all of these to work I’ll have a good working knowledge of Arduino by then, I definitely know a lot more now about it than when I started and this is just day 3!

5.0 out of 5 stars Elegoo sensor kit great starter kit
A good selection of sensors makes a good base arduino kit at about $1 each supplied in a nice partitioned storage case. it came with a cd with the tutorials on it but my computer has no cd drive so I went to the elegoo website and downloaded the tutorials there, the tutorials have 3 main contents there is a PDF called 37sensor kit with all the sensors and how to wire them which is the most accurate to the supplied sensors. there is also a folder called data sheet which is a little more generic but still has useful information included especially if you have sensors from other suppliers and lastly there are arduino sketch examples. if you are new to arduino its best to go through the files and make sure they match the supplied sensor first. As with anything to do with software and electronics its only when it doesn't work first time you really learn anything, if you don't like that then electronics isn't for you. I have used about half of the parts in the kit with no issues up to now.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice add on
Starting to work with my grandson to build electrical projects. All parts appear to be good quality and operational. Only complaint would be that I appear to have received 2 passive buzzers instead of 1 active and 1 passive.
