Like another reviewer here, I bought these for my modular synthesizer. I've been using 'knurlies' for a while, but they get expensive when you have a lot of modules. I recently bought a large case, so needed something better than regular M3 screws, and at $8 for 100, these fit the bill perfectly.

I just wish I'd found these ten years ago, before some of my older modules got their 'rack rash'.

Bought these for my eurorack setup and they work great! They will strip if you try to crank them down, especially if using a power driver. Best to install them with the appropriate size of screwdriver, and gently tighten, don't overtighten.

Well, they screw! They are black and the price was right. What else could you ask for?

They fit, low rash threat but I'll not buy these again. I need longer, in metal that holds to mag dish.

I grabbed these screws as an add on from another order to replace my standard metal screws, and was pleasantly surprised at how well they work, at a great price. I grabbed these to help prevent 'rack rash' and to hold off my knurlies purchase as long as possible, and with how well they work, i may not need knurlies for a good little while. Carefully start these screws, as being nylon they strip much easier than their metal counterparts, but once started they go in nice and smooth. Don't overtighten, and these screws hold my modules beautifully.
If you don't plan on doing a bunch of module switching and don't need a hand tightening screw, these might just be the perfect thing. Plus you get 100 in the pack for a very reasonable price in comparison. I would likely buy more of these in the future as needed.
