Exactly what I needed to be able to use an outlet on a kitchen wall that's low to the floor and behind shelving. I've got two Origami square shelves along that wall that we use to keep our large-quantity Costco products on, on the lower shelves, and rarely used pots, pans, etc., up high on the top shelf. Because the kitchen is small with not very much counter space, and only two outlets there, I wanted something that would allow me to plug in things like my rice cooker, crock pot, and water kettle on the remaining working-height shelves so they aren't cluttering up my counters.

The problem in the past has been that those big surge-suppressor type strips are just too big and bulky and we can't really mount them on the wall up where we can reach them because this is an apartment that prohibits that. But this extension cord hangs tidily from the top shelf by a hook and gives me three grounded plugs for my appliances. The only thing that could make this better is if it had a rocker switch to turn off the power, but it's easy to unplug things when they are not in use and replug them in when I need them, so I am quite happy.

I did not have a chance to get any pictures of this one before my husband had it opened and was replacing it with the other one we had been using that wasn't working right anymore. It works just as expected. There's nothing all that special or different between extension cords in my opinion. This one seems to be good quality and should do the job fine for many years to come. We've been using it for a few days now without any problems. The part that plugs into the outlet is not loose or wiggly. That's actually pretty good considering the outlet I have it plugged into is pretty janky itself. Everything we plug into it tends to not stay in well. I would definitely recommend this product.

This is one of my favorite purchases ever. You might think that I must live a very boring life to enjoy an extension cord so much, and maybe that is true, but I am just so impressed with the quality of this extension cord. I purchased this because the one I purchased at Home Depot was garbage. It cost twice as much as this cord and when I plugged in my phone cord, it kept falling out and losing its charge. The Axis extension cord fits flush into the wall so I can push my couch against it, and the plugs fit snugly into the outlets. So tightly that even when I tripped on my laptop cord the other day it did not even budge. I liked this so much, I bought another one. It is also really nice to have the three outlets on a single cord.

I know this is outside the intended use, but I needed a right angle plug with grounded 16 gauge wire. So I cut off the plug end, unzipped a few inches of the cord, then trimmed back the insulation and attached it using wire nuts to an existing appliance. This was so much better than trying to use parts made to do this because they are bulky and ugly and pricier. Once stripped back, the wire is stranded and appears to be of normal quality. It looked just like the wire in the appliance I hooked it to. The ground wire has a second green insulating jacket.

I've bought this brand before for normal use and they work great for that too. The little bit of offset of the plug body allows the plug to fit snugly even when the plug receptacle is slightly recessed.

Seems to be an okay extension cord, but it took way to long to arrive. I ordered this cord cause it looked like I could easily attach it to a shelf. My gf has a night light with a gold fairy on it and wants it out where she can see it. So I ordered a cord to move it out where it can be seen. It took so long to get here I had almost forgot I ordered it, then when it did arrive I was going to install it so that the double plug side was out, turns out that would make the night light be upside down, so I had to flip it around and use just the single plug. Once the cord was in place, and plugged in the night light installed, I found out that the night light is super bright and makes the bedroom feel like day, so we never have the night light on anyway.
