Extremely handyThis was one of those tools I thought looked cool and I wanted it but didn’t know exactly where I’d use it. I use it all the time!! Very handy for drilling holes, driving small screws and getting into tight spots. I highly recommend it.This person received an incentive to write a review.

An Indispensable ToolI bought this tool after struggling with my drill/driver when building cabinets and installing new drawer slides. This tool simply was amazing. the 90 degree head made it possible to reach the tightest spots and those way back in the corners where the geometry of a regular drill/driver make it impossible.

Perfect for most jobsI bought one of the angle drivers a while ago and was so impressed that I bought this second tool with the 12v Li batteries. This drill has enough power to drill holes 3/8" or less, is compact, easy to handle and the little batteries last a remarkably long time. (I've stopped using my 18v drill for anything under 3/8".) The quick chargers are brilliant. Having a few tools with this battery format, 5 batteries and two chargers means I have never found myself with a dead battery. This is a high ... read more quality tool that you'll always reach for.

Great Small Drill for Job or HomeI bought the BOSCH PS31-2A LI drill as a December holiday present for myself and take advantage of a great price at the local big hardware store. What a buy! This wasn't an impulse buy but done after a lot of research & comparison. My big, weighty 18V drill/driver batteries both died at the same time and I don't miss it one bit. As a homeowner I use my new Bosch for every project I've had from the simple to demanding & it's never quit. Battery life is great. I'm amazed by the awesome power this ... read more small drill has and like the features i.e., the work light, chuck lock, battery indicator, variable speed & 2-speed drive. All this in a very small package. Although I prefer a hard case for my tools, I grown used to the Bosch soft case. I'd recommend this tool for most of your drilling needs.

Drill Thrill! As a DIY guy, this drill has really met my needs and expectations in a variety of home projects. I was able to quickly take care of a number of projects that my girlfriend had been wishing for; a shelf here and there, a new door mirror, a three-shelf wire rack for the laundry room and the transformation of a nice, but useless wooden plaque into a key-hanger for the entryway. I can't wait for the next projects, whatever they may be... My only suggestion for Bosch would be that they clearly list ... read more or recommend the type of bits that should be purchased for this drill. I ended up having to buy two different Bosch bit sets before I ended up with the correct assortment of hex shank drill bits and power screwdriver bits. I ended up preferring the Bosch CC2130 Clic-Change 27-Piece Drilling and Driving Set with Clic-Change Chuck, even though I didn't need the Clic-Change Chuck since it is built-into the PS21-2A drill. Whatever the case, its a great drill and I'm glad that I put my faith in Bosch.I expect that this slightly more expensive drill will last me for many many years.

Most used tool in the bagWhen I am packing my tools to go on a job the two things I always make sure I have are my Klein screwdrivers and the PS21 drill. The torque is great, the two-speed clutch is handy and the batteries last for a long time. I have drilled 1-inch holes through 2x10 joists and this drill powered through a bunch of them before the battery got tired. One thing I noticed is that the chuck tends to wobble slightly so I would not use the hex-head twist drill bits with this driver. However if you get a PS31 ... read more with a true drill chuck you can dual-wield them and drill with one hand and drive with the other, which makes the work much faster. I rarely have the need to get out the 18v drill anymore since my 12v tools pack so much punch and the jigsaw is next on my list.
